My First Pie Crust

My very first homemade pie crust. I think it came out nice and flakey.

Candy Corn Cookie

My 1st time using the flooding technique with frosting. Not bad but it took a long time.

I bought the frosting gun from Pampered Chef and was playing with it today. I think it would work better with a slightly thinner frosting. I tried to do swirls but the looked horrible. I wound up doing plain plan star tips and it turned out to look like a carnation.

Lemon Bundt Cake

I finally made something from the cookbook my guys got me for Mother's Day. The recipe was really for two loaves of lemon bread but I only have one bread pan so I decided to turn it into a bundt cake. The cookbook is called Village Bakers Wife

Wedding Cake

Laurie, mom, and I attempted a wedding cake. It wasn't the prettiest of cakes but considering everything that happened it turned out pretty good.

Raspberry & Chocolate frosting on Chocolate Cupcakes

I tried some new recipes for chocolate cupcakes that baked up beautifully however I thought they could be a little moister. The frostings however are wonderful. One was a chocolate fudge frosting made super fast in the food processor and the other is a raspberry butter cream. I wish I has some raspberry extract to make this taste a little stronger but not bad with just fresh raspberries puree.
